Farbenfroh und fröhlich soll es sein, das Hochzeitskärtchen. Und fantasievoll, wie ein Wimmelbild. Mit diesen Gedanken und mit der Idee des Zirkus gelangte ein junges Paar an mich. Eine schöne Herausforderung, die ich gerne angenommen habe. Entstanden ist ein Kärtchen mit Fensterfalz sowie extra Schnitt auf beiden Seiten, um eine (Zirkuszelt-)Dachform zu imitieren. Aussen eher schlicht, innen voller Leben und voller Details, die darauf warten, entdeckt zu werden. Zückerchen: Tickets auf Visitenkarten gedruckt inklusive Perforation, um bei der Zeremonie auch richtiges Zirkusfeeling aufkommen zu lassen. Euch beiden alles Gute und vielen Dank für den Auftrag!
A happy and colourful wedding invitation, imaginative and filled with details – with these ideas in mind, a young couple challenged me to make this illustrated card. The result is a folded card with extra cuts to imitate the shape of a tent roof. On the outside it presents itself rather plain, while the inside is bursting with life and details to be explored. Sweet addition: „Tickets“ to the ceremony are printed in business card dimensions including a perforated part that can be torn apart at the entrance to the wedding. Real circus atmosphere!
