Den Onlineshop für Fernwehpostkarten starteten wir kurz nach unserer zweiten Reise. Immer wieder wurden wir gefragt, ob es unsere Fotos auch als Postkarten gäbe, so war die Idee eines Onlineshops schnell gefunden. Wir fanden eine gute Druckerei, die die Bilder auf Papier mit schöner Haptik und Textur druckte, sodass diese nicht nur als Karte, sondern auch als Print für die Wand benutzt werden konnte. Wir inszenierten die Postkartenserien für die Produktbilder, entwickelten Header und Werbebanner und liessen einen Stempel drucken, damit die Karten als Gesamtwerk signiert verschickt werden konnten (altes Logo). Der Shop war während 2 Jahren online, nun macht er Pause, da wir im Ausland wohnen.
Shortly after our second journey we started a small online shop for postcards. Again and again people had asked us if our pictures were available as postcards, so the idea of creating a small online shop was born. We found a good printer who printed the selected photos on beautiful, heavy, textured paper, which made the cards so special that they could also be used as prints on the wall. We took pictures of the postcard series as product pictures, designed header and advertisement and even had a stamp made so that the envelope in which the cards were sent to the customers also looked the same. The shop was online for 2 years and is now paused as we live abroad.
