Seit wir in Laos wohnen, ist mein Leben definitiv farbiger geworden. Und dies nicht nur im übertragenen, sondern auch im ganz konkreten Sinne. Vielleicht mag ich aus diesem Grund auch die Produkte von Ock Pop Tok so sehr. Sie sind wunderschön, handgefertigt und garantiert Fair Trade - und farbig! Ich arbeite öfters mit Ock Pop Tok zusammen, und diesmal ging es um ein Fotoshooting für den neu umgestalteten Webshop. Dieser ist insbesondere in der jetzigen Zeit wichtig, da durch die Corona Krise die Touristen vollständig wegbleiben und so Online Verkäufe umso wichtiger sind. Wenn du also ein tolles Unternehmen unterstützen möchtest, dann bestell doch eines (oder mehrere!) der vielen Produkte aus ihrem Shop!
Und falls du in Luang Prabang bist (und die Corona-Krise vorbei ist), solltest du einen Besuch im wunderschönen Living Crafts Center auf keinen Fall verpassen! Hier kannst du den Meisterweberinnen bei ihrer Arbeit zuschauen, den Flagship Store besuchen, eine Nacht in der Mekong Villa verbringen oder eine köstliche Mahlzeit im Silk Road Cafe geniessen. Alle hier gezeigten Bilder wurden im Living Crafts Center gemacht und zeigen die einzigartigen Produkte von Ock Pop Tok.
My life has definitely become more colourful since we've moved to Laos! And not just figuratively, but also in a very real sense. Maybe that's why I like Ock Pop Tok's products so much. They are beautiful, handmade and guaranteed fair trade - and colorful! I often work with Ock Pop Tok, and this time it was a photo shoot for the newly redesigned web shop. This is particularly important at the present time, since the tourists are completely absent due to the Corona crisis, making online sales all the more important. So if you want to support a great company, order one (or more!) of the many products from their shop!
And if you are in Luang Prabang (and once the Corona Crisis is over), you should definitely not miss visiting the beautiful Living Crafts Center, where you can watch the master weavers work on their beautiful handicrafts, visit the flagship store, spend a night at the Mekong Villa or enjoy a delicious meal at the Silk Road Cafe.
