From May 2015 until February 2016 we traveled on the Panamericana. On our motorbike (Honda Transalp) we first drove all through Canada (from East to West) and then southwards to Chile. We have already briefly entered Chile, this long and narrow country, at it's southern tip. We already liked it back then! Now, we enjoy the fresh fruits and berries of all kinds, meet old acquaintances and make new ones.

Oftentimes, a very unique culture develops on islands over the centuries, very different from the culture of the mainland residents. After we have already visited the largest island in South America (Tierra del Fuego), we decide to also spend a whole week on the second largest island - Chiloé.
